Reviving the Dream: A Look Into Grinnell and the Black Community
As students of color in Grinnell’s social justice and digital humanities class we decided to advocate for the Black population campus, specifically for Concerned Black students (CBS). Concerned Black Students voice on campus has begun to fade since the date the organization began. However, our group's final project will make an effort to archive historical documents, records, information, and knowledge of CBS in order to keep this voice from disappearing. Concerned Black Students needs a spotlight within Grinnell’s history and archiving its social activism is one way to advocate.
